Born in 1936 in Elazig, Assoc. Prof. Ahmet KUCUKEL graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine; following the completion of his specialty in General and Vascular Surgery in Germany he returned to the country and lectured at Bursa Uludag University Faculty of Medicine for 10 years.Dr. Kucukel who established Ankara Guven Hospital together with his late wife Dr. Aysun Kucukel, together with his Founding membership of the True Path Party, served as Member of Parliament from Elazig for the 18th and 19th Terms in the Turkish Grand National Assembly and chaired in this framework the Social Affairs Committee of the TGNA.Assoc. Prof. Dr Ahmet Kucukel, who passed away on 20 August 2009, continued to his last breath, for more than 37 years hand in hand with his late wife Dr. Aysun Kucukel, in line with the requirements of Turkey, the fight to give quality, contemporary health service in compliance with 21st Century on the basis of codes of ethics, to all of the country with high technology and the qualified personel.
